Spinach is a true super food, extremely rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, it also contains more iron than meat (based on equivalent weight).
This protein rich green smoothie is a perfect way to start your morning. I LOVE IT :)
Ingredients:
- 30g of your favourite natural protein (Clean Lean is a goodie)
- 100ml water (or coconut water) - increase/decrease amount depending on desired consistency
- 2-3 cups of torn spinach
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 3/4 cup mixed berries
- 1/2 apple or orange
In a blender, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Enjoy :)
