Will we see discus on Sunday at the Spring Challenge's first Team event?
Spring is well and truly here, and if you've recently joined us here at CFNZ, or are a veteran, the warmer weather is hopefully having a similar effect on you all; renewed enthusiasm for hard training, and a sudden craving for salads.......
Crank up that BBQ - it can't be beat for a healthy feed. Some NZ Beef, maybe some of the insanely cheap lamb we're seeing lately (butterflied is great on the barbie) and hit up some new season asparagus, roasted peppers and spinach.
Whether you train AM or PM, spend the other end of your day just being active, get out for a jog, walk the dog, go for a walk with a friend, play a social sport like touch or netball, swimming will be considerable very soon..... don't think of it as exercise, you've already taken care of that if you're hitting up CFNZ at least 3 x week; just be active.
Active people are healthy people.
Healthy people are lean people.
