Team Faster wrapped up their winter training block last Saturday, with a repeat of their 5km baseline run. The handful who have remained dedicated through the cold, wet training sessions over the last 8 weeks, turned up to a grey, windy waterfront, with a headwind determined to keep them from bettering their previous times.
Obviously it takes more than a bit of a breeze to keep Team Faster down, as they all blitzed to new PR's.
The Spring training block will kick off September 4th, which will also serve as an 8 week build up to the Auckland Marathon for those who are competing.
Training times are Tuesdays 630pm and every 2nd Saturday at 830am.
