Toko and Rachael working on their pistols using a box to work a reduced, but workable range of motion, while Yutaro does the same with an abmat under his head for handstand pushups.
Any time a workout comes up with an exercise you can't do, generally the warmup or skills portion of the class will include time for you to practice it. Choose the progression suitable for your ability and work on moving to the next progression. The metcon will then usually include a scaled movement to help you improve on the Rx exercise. It's important to understand that the scaled movement with FULL range of motion is much better during a metcon, than trying to struggle through a partial ROM version of the Rx. Range of motion ALWAYS comes first. Save the partial stuff as a part of developing the movement during your skill practice.
